- About our Site
Bedford and Associates Research Group began in
1994 when founder Terry Bedford surmised there was a market for high quality
technical research. With limited resources and a never-say-die Terry began
making cold calls to institutional accounts, trying to sell them on the idea
that a stronger technical perspective would improve return on
investment.
It was not long after that Bedford and Associates became a
thriving concern. The Institutional Advisor research journal became a
favorite among leading money North American money managers and in 1994 the OEX
Advantage introduced Bedford and Associates research to non-institutional
accounts. This publication was later joined by the Bedford Option Review,
the New Daytrader and the Cycle Watch Institutional Advisor -- a
"lite" version of the very popular Institutional Advisor.
Through the years Bedford and Associates Research Group has
gained recognition as a leading provider of unbiased research. In 1996
Bedford and Associates became featured content on DBC Signal. Later that
year, the OEX Advantage was featured in America Online's Personal Finance.
And most recently, Bedford and Associates has become a regular contributor to
MSN Investor, the leading financial site on the Internet.
With our latest site upgrade, Bedford and Associates has
bridged the gap between subscription based advisory services and financial
portals. We understand that we cannot be everything to everyone but we can
use our resources to point investors to the best information available on the
Internet and more important, attempt to educate investors to help make them
better traders.
Our Editorial section is made-up of a series of guides for
investors seeking to find the best information available on the Internet each
trading day. From Investor's Beat, a compilation of the leading stories
from the most important financial web sites to Tales from the Trenches, a
traders take on market events without the spin, Bedford and Associates editorial
should help both new and veteran investors gain a fresh perspective on the
capital markets.
Our Education section is second to none in terms of
scope. The categories start from basic concepts and slowly progress to the
most complicated of strategies. Along the way we provide real life
examples and enough anecdotal information to hopefully entertain.
All of this is packaged in a clean, easy to navigate web site
that holds members attention. In short, the Bedford and Associates website
is sticky.
The Power of Subscription-Based Sites
Many websites boast about clicks, page impressions and unique
users but since 1994 Bedford and Associates has followed a different path.
Most of our investment advisory services are fee-based. This means that
real investors that have shown a willingness to purchase products and services
on the Internet are looking at our pages -- and that is powerful. With
more than 10,000 paid subscribers, our advisory services will deliver a
motivated, educated and highly prized demographic to view your marketing
message. Currently Bedford and Associates serves more than 1.5 million
advertising impressions each month.
